Absolutely disgraceful approach to deposits. They held my entire £250 deposit over a few tiny stains
Positive: Location was ok .
Negative: Old house with loads of wear and tears. Despite the carpets and floors being far from immaculate when we arrived.
I’m happy to pay a reasonable cleaning charge, but £250 for a few minor marks that could be dealt with using an ordinary carpet cleaner is absurd and completely disproportionate.
Future guests: TAKE PHOTOS OF EVERYTHING on arrival. Apparently, a few specks of dirt can suddenly become worth £250 at checkout. Very disappointing and certainly not a service I would recommend.

Positive: Great for a group stay ! We stayed for a friends wedding and it was great to have a base nearby
